Grub Street Food Festival is taking over Hester Street Fair this Sunday October 23, 2011 from 10am-6pm! They will have over 75 food trucks, restaurants and shops. If you like food, this is a can’t miss event! I’m getting excited just typing about it! I suggest you get there early, because you know I will!
Here are a few of the notable vendors of which I can personally vouch for:
Lukes Lobster (everyone likes lobster other than me! But it’s me so nuff said)
Barbecue from Brooklyn’s Char No. 4 , hopefully they’ll bring the warmth to the outdoors
Mexican from Mexicue it’s mexican and barbecue. How could it be bad?
Kelvin Natural Slush (awe-inspiring to watch them make it)
Macaron Parlour is so yummy and fresh and oh did I say yummy
Big Gay Ice Cream Team and now they have a shop! The lines are just as long as they were at the truck. Just sayin…they gotta be doing something right.
Evies Pies and who doesn’t like pie
Empanadas from La Sonrisa Empanadas, so amazingly delicious!
Refreshing ginger ale from Fresh Ginger, Ginger Ale & Bao is a bit sharp and bitter just like real ginger should be
Peels has an awesome brunch and biscuits! Hopefully they’ll bring a few along.
Pies-N-Thighs of Williamsburg yum is all I can say to this southern cooking.
