Bodega Week: The blog Eater is putting together a few offerings with relation to YOUR LOCAL BODEGA! How much cooler could this get! Right now details are still up in the air but they need your help (which can only be better for you) to decide what you would like to experience during bodega week, and nominate your favorite bodega.
GoogaMooga: Taking place in Prospect Park Brooklyn is a music and food festival created by the creators of Bonnaroo (one of the best if not the best summer music festival). Details are still in development, but it does include over 75 food vendors, 35 brewers, 30 winemakers and takes place during the days of May 19th and May 20th.

Extra Fancy: Speaking from a tip from the guy who will be tending bar at this amazingly gorgeous and warm speakeasy to open in the coming fall, this place is going to be popular. People are already knocking down the doors to try this place out. Located in Williamsburg on 302 Metropolitan Ave. the owners are Mark Rancourt a veteran of Macao Trading and Robert Krueger of Employees Only can only promise the best. Their inspiration is of the New England Sea shacks, Clam rolls, chowder and fried fish will be on the menu . Enjoy the wrap around banquets with friends, cozy booths with a date and the exposed brick. I can’t wait for this place to open! The drinks will be good and even better, affordable. TRUST ME!
